Mocha Cafe

We’d our dinner here for few times. The food was good, the choice of menu was quite ample, the price was reasonable, the ambience was appeal, the staff was very helpful and friendly. However, i’ve some suggestion to the cafe owner - maybe can consider a more efficient POS systems for accurate order entry and to prevent any food wastage. We’ve experienced multiple issues with our order during the previous visits and to make it more disappointed at that time, we’ve to wait for quite some time for the food to be served. But we’re understood maybe it was due to peak hour during the weekend and the crowd was large. So, again maybe the cafe owner can take a look at the given suggestion for their betterment.

Their pepperoni pizza and cheese fries are my fav so far. The pepperoni pizza has a layer of spiced-up, well-seasoned beef with a kick underneath the cheese and pepperoni. Great for those who love a bit of a kick. The cheese fries were well cooked and covered in cheese sauce, absolutely satisfactory. 5 Their triple-decker roti bakar used to be one of my go-to foods but the last I had it, it tasted different and I liked it less. Might try it again next time. Drinks- I recommend any of the coffee drinks as they're consistently satisfying and if you like ordering for pictures, their drinks are made quite pretty. 5 Ambience- it's normally quite quiet, but it can get loud/noisy if there are big groups or families coming in as it's a quaint space. Nothing much to note on their ambience 3 Service- okay+helpful staff (when asked) and quick service, food and drinks arrived within 15minutes or less although the place is rarely crowded during brunch time so I've not faced long waiting time. 3 Temperature- not too cold and not warm, just alright.

Came here with my family and tried a few of their dishes. Fun fact; what you get is exactly the same as gambar dalam menu which is so impressive! Like japanese punya culture. Ada some hits and misses which is normal for any restaurant so i’d give this cafe a solid 8/10. Here's my breakdown: 1. Seafood Aglio Olio – The dish was generous with prawns and squid, but the squid was the sotong ring type, which tasted quite rubbery. The pasta itself was far too garlicky for my liking, even though I requested less garlic. 2. Chicken Chop – Absolutely loved this! It was crispy without being too oily, and the batter was just right, not too thick. The black pepper sauce was super delicious. I do think the side dish could be improved—adding something like coleslaw or mashed potatoes would be a nice touch. 3. Mushroom Soup – Came with crispy garlic bread, which was a nice touch. However, the soup itself tasted more like flour and milk, with very little mushroom flavor. Adding more mushrooms would definitely improve this dish. 4. Bangkok Tomyum with Rice – This was the highlight of the meal! The tomyum was thick, creamy, and had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors. It was generous with chicken too. However, it might be a bit too spicy for those who can't handle the heat, but as a spice lover, I really enjoyed it As for the service, it was fair enough, not too fast but not too slow either. However, the space inside the cafe is quite limited, with only a few tables available so tak boleh fit ramai ramai sangat. Overall its a good experience as a first timer. The price is also not too expensive. I’d probably come again to try their fish and chips because meja sebelah punya order looked tempting hihi

Keep repeating to this cafe for their food. For the brunch hour i’ve ordered the chicken salad, bruschetta, tiramisu cake and Choc chip frappe. All food have a nice portion, good presentation which suitable for those who love taking picture for their food and the most important things is their food taste really good. And before this i’ve also tried their crispy chicken chop, pepperoni pizza, fish & chips, spaghetti and meatballs and also panna cotta for the dessert. As i’ve mention before their food tastes really good, the staff was really friendly and they deliver good service for their customer and worth every penny when you’ve dine in at this cafe. The ambiance of this cafe is typically cosy and relaxed which i really love. So you can try this cafe when you come to Parit Buntar.
